Is it advisable to start a coffee shop by buying a franchise?
The only reason you should buy a franchise is if you need a proven business model. Do you have any experience in this type of business? If so you can probably avoid the upfront fee and ongoing fees to just create a quaint local coffee shop. Coffee shop loyalists come for great coffee, convenient location with comfortable decor. I don’t think I would pay for a franchise unless I was saving money on my supplies and marketing to where my net gain was greater with a franchise.
