How does the activities of a financial manager help the present day modern business organizations?
I would hope this person would manage all financial matters within a company which could be very valuable. This would be a very part-time position within a small business. This is not done quarterly which is a huge mistake small business owners make. You need key numbers weekly.
- Track and control expenses
- Provide cash flow statements, P/L, and accounts receivable owed, etc.
- Provide a dashboard of key financial measurables to the owner each week (as I have this done for me)
