How much should a company spend on payroll?
Payroll is a companies largest expense in most cases and can vary greatly. The amount you spend on the payroll is not the important number. The important number is how much profit you make after your expenses including your payroll. If you are making a profit and are happy with the amount of profit then whatever your payroll is does not really matter. And if you are not making a profit clearly your payroll is too high or at the very least untenable.
