Is it worth going for a top business school if you just want a career in startups or medium companies and not high paying big fortune 500 companies?
BUSINESS SCHOOLS ARE GREAT FOR MANAGERS BUT NOT ENTREPRENEURS
Let us stack them side by side.
The college experience will cost you 100k on average to learn how to manage a company as I have spoken at many colleges and have yet to meet a professor that I believe could launch a lemonade stand. You could launch 5 learn startups for 5k apiece and 5 number 5 I am confident if you have an entrepreneurial bone in your body you would have a successful enterprise by then.
The illustration that cements my point is Bill Gates, Steve Jobs nor Mark Zuckerberg ever went BACK TO COLLEGE to learn how to lead their billion-dollar companies. Once they got the idea and began running with it this became their sole focus.
