How important is having connections and affiliations before starting a business?
It can’t hurt having a small group of encourages around you but it is not the difference in whether you will succeed. Successful people do whatever it takes to get a business off the ground. Partnerships, someone who is actually helping you with your business day in and day out, are more helpful than connections and affiliations is my experience.
