What do you do systematically that develops a high level of confidence in yourself. We’re talking about building your TOOL KIT for success!
I Write Down My Goals
Whether my goal was winning the state championship in wrestling back in the day or a business goal for this year, I first start with setting a goal and then BUILD THE HABITS around achieving that goal.
One of the habits I built early was:
Visualization
I visualize what success looks like, keeping out negative visions and outcomes.
Perform an Uncomfortable Task
When I ran my direct-mail business, I made the point of making one uncomfortable phone call to a potential client every day. I was calling companies who weren’t likely to advertise with me like Chic-Fil-A and McDonalds. I did end up getting their business and I would have not had I not forced myself into building this habit!
Keeping a Routine
I still strive to work out twice a day, five days a week. I read everyday. I want to learn every day!
I visualize! Not for long but I do.
I write down my goals.
I Do Something That Generates Profit Every Day
Something that the award would be financial.
I Blueprint My Day
I sit down and I outline what the day looks like, the “main event” for the day. It’s typically about fives things to do with emphasis on three things: new business partners, new profits, and new opportunities.
