HOW TO MAKE A GREAT ADVERTISEMENT

  1. Know who your target customers (the person most likely to buy from you). You waste money fishing in the ocean if what you are trying to catch is a freshwater fish you can find in your local pond.
  2. Advertise where your target customer is looking and listening so you don’t waste your money
  3. Advertise with a purpose. Have a Unique Selling Position (why your company is unique) or Call To Action in your advertisement so it has a purpose. It will either tell customers why they should buy from you or give them a reason to buy today (sale, discount, etc.).
  4. Track your advertising so you know it is working.

BONUS. Great advertising works from the beginning and bad advertising starts slow and never gets better. Hit a home run or move on and change something.
