Does it make sense to establish new legal entities for new strategic business units? Why?
If you need a level of protection if these entities failed. Would it diminish your brand or reputation? If so using a different name and legal entity would be wise. It is also possible there could be some tax benefits but your CPA would best know if that is the case.
