How can I start a business (and decide what to start a business in) when the only thing that I’m good at is sales and I’m subject to a non-compete in the field I have expertise in?
Partner with someone and personally don’t be involved in the selling part of the business until the non-compete expires. Non compete are normally 6 months to a year which will allow you to hire and train salespeople and will make you a better company as you should not be the main salesperson.
