Sales Process

  • Create a marketing plan to attract your target customer (those most likely to buy what you are selling).
  • Begin attracting customers so YOU CAN SELL TO THEM. Even if your company gives you leads you want to create your own attracting mechanism (asking for referrals, promoting your name via networks,etc.)

NOW THE SELLING PART

  1. Communicate with your potential customer what your product/ service does that THEY WANT.
  2. Ask them what they want most from a product or service like yours.
  3. Share how your product/service will meet their need better than any other company.
  4. Give a reason to buy today. Create some urgency or scarcity or give a discount- something that makes buying today more advantageous than waiting.
  5. Overcome their skepticism or concerns with warranty information, testimonies, company history, etc.
  6. Ask them to buy.
  7. If they say no or maybe continue to ask what would make them want to buy today. Periodically follow up and try to sell them again until THEY SAY NEVER. Then still follow up in 6 months.
