Investing in stocks vs creating a startup business, what to choose as a business student? Considering utilities in learning, development of skill, money, potential gains/time needed. Unsure of what’s more stimulating, might be equal on joy.
As a student, I doubt you have a large amount to put into stock so it will be years before that has amassed to a point you could possibly live off of it. I would start a business and invest 10% of your income in the stock market for the rest of your life. Remember Warren Buffet created a company Berkshire Hathaway which earned him an income so he never had to sell a personal stock to live on. So he was an entrepreneur before becoming the world’s most recognized investor.
