What do you do when an employee doesn’t respect you?
Earn their respect. You can’t ask for the respect you need to earn it. In a perfect world, you would just have their respect in the real world you earn it by becoming valuable to them. Sadly some people no matter how valuable you are may have trouble displaying it in a way you like or need.
