Service is a Marketing Opportunity

Somewhere along the line in your marketing, you’ve made a promise to the customer on what you will deliver to them. If you fail to do that, you will never see that client again, but if you do deliver, you will see that customer over and over again.

You have to build in margins in order to provide the level of service you are promising. You have to cover whether they are an easy customer OR a high-maintenance customer.

 

It Shows Your Integrity

It builds trust in the relationship. If you can deliver on the small things, customers will trust you with larger projects as well.

 

Service Separates You from the Competition

I recently received communication from a client about something that needed to be fixed, and I copied my entire staff on the email with the due date. The client can see the accountability.

Another way we separate ourselves is the quality of work and service. . You can hire a cheaper company but they’re not going to get the level of service from that company that they will from ours.

 

It Gives Your Client a Reason to Brag About You

You want to give them a reason to brag and you do that by providing good service.

 

Your Client Knows How You Will Handle Difficulties/Issues Going Forward

When a company performs a job well for a client, there’s nothing to worry about, but when a project isn’t going so smoothly, that’s when you find out why type of company you are dealing with. Even a Rolex or a Mercedes comes with a warranty. These are very good products! But things happen.
