How Are you Doing in Relation to the Goals You’ve Set?

Be honest. Are you close to the goals you set at the beginning of the year? Are you hitting your revenue goals? Sales goals?

 

Are You Attracting Customers?

How well are you acquiring your TARGET customers? What are those metrics?

 

Are You Selling?

What are your sales numbers. If you’re not selling them, they’re just visitors.

 

What Are Your Total Sales?

Are your total sales improving? This is one way to see if you are trending positive or negative.

 

How Are Your Profit Margins?

I recently looked into our cost for fuel for our company vehicles and it’s been much higher this past year. I needed a way to mitigate that by adding “van charges” for when we drive to your house or go get additional materials, etc. Check your margins and how to protect them.

 

Have You Hired Anyone That Can Help Move the Needle?

I try to get one new impactful staff member every six months. Nothing moves the needle more than hiring a superstar employee.

 

What Are Your Expenses And Where Can You Save?

My staff recently interacted with Comcast and found out we were paying for services we didn’t need. They saved me over $200 a month by doing that. That’s $1400 a year! I’d much rather use that money for charities that move the needle versus giving it to Comcast!

 

I check my dashboard that shows all the numbers I care about…customers serviced, acquisition, costs, fees, etc.
