Ask yourself this question: What one promise, if we could deliver on this, would make our target customer chase us down for our business? This applies to a product, service, or personal brand.
Let me share some examples to show you this works.
- Be the most prestigious watch- Rolex
- Be the athletic shoe and attire worn by the most recognized athletes- Nike
- Be an online store that has the greatest selections and fastest delivery- Amazon.
I hope you get the idea. Find out what your target customer really wants that you could provide and build your brand around that.
