VISION AND VALUE STATEMENTS ARE A BIT OVERRATED

I think it is one of the least important things as what you really need is a business idea that a business plan has confirmed has a wanting market with a strategy to attract and sell customers and fulfill what it is they are paying for. At some point in the first year as it may evolve you will decide what your vision for the company is. If you know early on great if not then that is ok as well. Let’s remember it started out The Facebook and they were just a college online yearbook/ my space concept. More important than a vision and value statement is Why do you want to start this business and what makes you believe it will be successful. And finally what your values tend to become the values of the company.
