Is it a bad idea to quit my well-paying job and try to set up a small business in an covid-19 economy?
What do you think? Yes, you know the answer deep down. It is a horrible idea and actually it’s a bad idea in a good market.
Please don’t ever quit a great job to start a business. There are 168 hours in a week you can do both, trust me, many of us have. It puts too much stress financially on you and if you keep your job you can take profit and use it to grow the company NOT paying you.
Use quitting your job as a motivator to get the business profitable and when it can afford to replace 70% of your income you can leave.
